KEF logo
Keflavík Airport's logo is an abbreviation of its name, which also serves as its international code. The logo features the sans serif typeface KEF Oasis, designed by the Icelandic/Indian font company Universal Thirst.
It is composed of three different font thicknesses: the stems are bold, the legs are regular and medium, and the arms are light.
Suffix
The suffix to the logo is designed for use outside the airport or wherever further clarification of the KEF name is needed. This label with a suffix is available in both Icelandic and English. The suffix is in capital letters using the KEF Oasis Light font and is always positioned to the right of the KEF logo.
The suffix logo is primarily used for initial interactions with the airport, such as in non-airport media, on the website, and on business cards.
The logo appears in Icelandic by default. In digital formats, the suffix can alternate between Icelandic and English. For printed materials, the Icelandic logo is used when the publication targets both Icelanders and foreign visitors.
The primary logo of Keflavík Airport is the version without the suffix. When used locally at the airport, it is assumed that guests are familiar with the KEF abbreviation; therefore, the KEF logo should be used without the suffix.
Kinetic logo
The KEF brand is largely digital or screen-based. A kinetic logo can play a significant role in bringing the brand to life and capturing attention for our messages.
Wordmark
The wordmark appears across numerous interfaces and media. The brand's presence varies depending on whether the content is published within the airport or externally, such as on social media or other platforms.
